Coconut Oil & Almond Butter Sugar Scrub

Although it’s not a cure-all, coconut oil may effectively reduce eczema symptoms by soothing skin, easing irritation, and reducing the risk of infection.

Coconut oil is extracted from harvested, mature coconuts. Around half of the fat content in coconut oil comes from lauric acid, a healthy form of saturated fat that’s also found in breast milk. Coconut oil has a myriad of health benefits when taken internally or used topically on the skin.

Almond butter has the potency to offer deep pore cleansing. It opens up the pores and flushes out excess sebum and debris. This cleansing mechanism can also help reduce acne and breakouts caused due to clogged pores. If you have very oily skin, it is best to stay away from almond butter. Almonds contain healthy fats, as well as omega 3 fatty acids, which can help to improve the texture of your skin. Almonds and almond butter provide your body with vitamin E, an antioxidant that can help to fight skin damage.
